Hi, I’m Maddi. I’ve been a customer of CoolBreeze for 20 years and I’ve recently just converted to the Maxima. We’re very pleased with it.

First of all, it’s very quiet. I have to have this little ribbon in my vent so I know that it’s going! Even when it dumps the water outside, there’s not much noise. During our first very hot day since having it (installed), I had to go outside to make sure it was a hot day because it was so cool and lovely inside.

When we’re going out during the day, we can lock our windows open a little bit and leave it on low. When we come home later in the afternoon it’s a beautiful cool home and we find we don’t have to turn it up to high, so it is very economical.

We do quilting and one of the stages of quilting is using spray glue. You can’t breathe in the fumes of the glue so that’s when we turn the exhaust on. We also use it if we ever burn the toast!

We rang CoolBreeze and said we would like a new unit and within a week we had a new one! When we rang, he said he’d be there at 7 o’clock and he was. Within a couple of hours this all took place and it was very prompt service.

We chose to stay with CoolBreeze because of the good service we’d had all these years and also CoolBreeze offers a 10 year guarantee now.

My name is Wendy Keogh and our business is Wise Choice Heating and Cooling which we’re very proud of. I’m the Operations Manager and Sales Manager. My experience with CoolBreeze is that we’ve never had any problems. CoolBreeze are very efficient units and the staff we deal with are really good, so we’ve got a lot of support and customer service.

What do customers like about CoolBreeze? Fresh filtered air is really appealing to people especially with young families and people who sometimes have allergies. They can’t be in closed spaces and they have to have the fresh air. I believe that’s really important.

I think the best feature of a CoolBreeze is the controller. The controller is very simple, easy to use and all the clients can understand it.

Running costs are very important to families, especially in this day and age with everything being so expensive, when we show people the figures of what it costs to run per day, they’re excited about that.

When I give all the facts and figures on the units from CoolBreeze, customers take all the information that I give them and they make an informed decision. Evaporative cooling is definitely a money saver for a young family.

I certainly promote that you can cool your alfresco area and leave your doors open of an evening, you’ve got your friends around and you can have that cool breeze coming on through!

Wendy Keogh – Wise Choice Heating and Cooling

I’ve been involved with home air conditioning for over 15 years now, starting off in retail sales and moving through to wholesaling air-conditioners, developing and importing a range of air conditioners and ensuring that they passed all the relevant safety and efficiency testing requirements. The vast majority of air conditioners now days are manufactured in Asia. However, the Asian climate is very different to the climate extremes we face here in Australia, and fine tuning the units to suit our usage is one of the biggest challenges for the industry.

I love evaporative air conditioning because it does a great job in our climate. It’s cheap to install – usually about half the price of a comparable refrigerative system and it costs only a fraction of the price to run.

Even on extremely humid days, the evaporative air conditioning system still takes the heat out of the home and by the evening, you’ll find that the house itself is cooler and you’re able to get a good night’s sleep.

Evaps use the natural evaporation cycle to cool you. There are no dangerous greenhouse gases involved as well as using less energy, so it’s better for the environment. Evaps work on the basis of rapidly changing all the air in the home and replacing it with fresh, filtered air rather than recycling the same stale air around the house. And of course, CoolBreeze units are made right here in Australia!

We moved into our new home about four months ago. We had been living in a townhouse but once Jackson came along we needed a bigger place so after a lot of hunting around display homes, we finally settled on this one from Content.

The guys from Content gave us the choice of a ducted reverse cycle system or the CoolBreeze evap air conditioning. We were pretty stretched on our budget and I just couldn’t really justify spending nearly double for reverse-cycle.

We have friends with reverse-cycle and their power bills are horrendous. I think that’s why they hardly turn their air-conditioner on. I mean what’s the point of buying something if you can’t afford to run it?

We have our CoolBreeze unit running just about all day, every day over summer. With my shift-work, getting a good night – or day of sleep is so important. And I think there was really only 2 days over summer where the humidity affected the air-conditioning. Even on those days, by the time we went to bed the house had cooled right down.

We would definitely recommend CoolBreeze air-conditioning.

Craig and Melissa

We used to have a small box air-conditioner in the lounge room. Some nights we would drag our mattresses out here and try to get some sleep! It was definitely time for an upgrade!

Our neighbour has a CoolBreeze Evaporative Air Conditioner for his house and he recommended it to us. We also looked at getting a refrigerates system but we spoke to some of the boys down at the bowling club and the horror stories they told about the electricity cost was scary. Being on the pension you just have to watch every penny.

We like the fact that you don’t have to lock the house up, its nice fresh air coming in all the time. And it certainly helps when the grand-kids are here, playing inside and out, we’re not concerned about keeping the doors shut all the time.

Gordon and Shirley

Hi! My name is Chad and I live in Pearsall in Perth, Western Australia. I’ve been a CoolBreeze customer for about six years now – in two different homes.

With the CoolBreeze unit, we love opening the doors in summer and having the cold air blowing to our outside area, where we can sit out there with the kids and have the fresh, cool air blowing on us.

One of the features I love is that they are very powerful units but they don’t use much power at all. Our power bill is extremely low during the summer months. The best feature about CoolBreeze is there are a hundred different settings on our evaporative system so you can run it at all different speeds.

With our CoolBreeze unit, we know confidently that each room is going to be the same cool temperature and the reliable unit has never ever caused us a problem.

My name is Kyle Briggs and I’m the owner of Plum Heating and Cooling. We’ve been installing air conditioning systems for the last 24 years and we’ve been selling the CoolBreeze product for the last 15 years.

Why do we sell CoolBreeze?

Plum Heating and Cooling is very happy to be selling the CoolBreeze product. One thing that our customers really like about our company and CoolBreeze is that they only have one person to deal with if they have any issues down the track. Our company also does the warranty service work, so it’s peace of mind for our customers.

What’s the best feature of a CoolBreeze?

The best feature of the CoolBreeze system would be the exhaust mode which extracts any stale air or smells out of your home. The CoolBreeze system also has larger filter pads than any other brand on the market. We find the more air you have passing through the saturated pads will give a cooler temperature. CoolBreeze is very good price-wise compared to some of the other brands, but I certainly believe there are better features in a CoolBreeze than any other system as well.

What’s the best feature of a CoolBreeze?

The CoolBreeze product is very simple inside with the way that it operates. There are not a lot of electronics like some of the other machines on the market. They also only require 11 litres of water in the sump for them to operate compared with some of the other brands which can be up to 35 litres of water. So each time you turn them off, they drain that water. So, obviously CoolBreeze is a lot more efficient.

Why should you choose evaporative cooling?

Evaporative cooling is an ideal choice for cooling in Melbourne. Evaporative cooling is very cheap to install compared with refrigerated systems and also very cheap to run compared with refrigerated systems.
